SHW has been appointed by Exclusive Hotels for the prestigious Lainston House Hotel in Hampshire to design and specify the kitchens for its Dawley Barn function room and new Chef’s Academy.
Working with renowned head chef Olly Rouse, SHW will help to develop the five-star hotel’s function and banqueting offerings.
Headed by former executive chef at Lainston House Hotel, Andy Mackenzie, the Chef’s Academy will open in July. It will give young chefs the opportunity to work alongside MasterChef: The Professionals winner Steven Edwards and Michelin-starred chefs, including Michael Wignall, Matt Gillan and Richard Davies. The two-year programme will enable commis chefs to progress to chef de partie level.
