Gareth Sefton joined, Ashley Palmer Watts, Mark Hastings and William Baxter CBE as a judge for the inaugural Inspire Hospitality & Catering Competition, where teams were invited to present a business plan for a new restaurant culminating in a judging of their signature dish. the standard was extremely high, with Reading College 'Blades' team being crowned winners. We look forward to the competition growing in strength in the future.

10 Trinity Square by Gareth Sefton

We have been working with Reignwood Investments and Four Seasons Hotels  in the development of the 10 Trinity Square Hotel. Occupying the former Port of London Authority Building on Tower Hill, the 5 star hotel boasts 100 keys, 3 restaurants incl Anne Sophie Pic's first London restaurant, a club, residents bar and function suite.  SHW were tasked with preparing the design for all F&B and Laundry facilities.  Following a tender process Hallmark Kitchens were awarded the contract to install.

Four Seasons Kuwait by Gareth Sefton

Galvin Restaurants open in Dubai by Gareth Sefton

Working with renowned chefs and restaurateurs, Chris and Jeff Galvin we provided the lead design for the back of house and food & beverage service facilities within the 2 storey restaurant. We also worked closely with Simon Spiteri of Design LSM, the interior Designers to ensure both form and function were achieved in Galvins’ first Dubai venture.

Dubai appoints new General Manager by Gareth Sefton

We are delighted to announce that Steven Swindells has joined the company as co-owner and in the role of General Manager to our Dubai company. Steven brings in excess 20 years’ experience in the food & beverage industry, having held positions at hospitality groups such as TDIC & Emaar, Steven is experienced in the successful setting up and opening of restaurant divisions, understanding of operational workflows and the commercials aspects. With an understanding of the schematic design, detailed design and the construction phases, Steven has the broad range of skills required to lead the and develop the company in Dubai.

Isabel, Albermarle Street, London. Taking over the vacant space left by Sumosan, Juan Santa Cruz has created the new 'go to' place. Adding to his portfolio including a number in his native Buenos Aires, New York and the 2015 Casa Cruz in Notting Hill, Juan continues to delight the celebrity crowd. Working with head chef Thomas Straker and fit out contractor,Hallmark Kitchens we developed the design for the kitchen and bars and are delighted with the outcome.

We would like to extend our congratulations to owner Reignwood and Four Seasons on the opening of the latest luxury hotel in London at Ten Trinity Square. SHW Design have been working with both plus the Anne Sophie Pic team to develop first class dining facilities. Case studies to follow!

New appointment by Gareth Sefton

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Graham Bean who has joined SHW Design. Graham has recently retired from Bunzl Lockhart after 22 years service, which at 3 months of starting employed our Managing Director Gareth, as a trainee CAD technician. Graham is a highly experienced industry professional and brings a wealth of design, commercial and corporate knowledge to the business. Rumour has it he has joined to finish the mentoring job he started back in 1994! Please join us in welcoming Graham to the team.
